OmniMax S3 is a professional multi-technology aesthetic workstation combining Dynamic Pulse Control™ intense pulsed light, VermaDerm™ long-pulsed infrared, and bi-polar and multi-polar radiofrequency in one configurable platform.

Our OmniMax S3 configuration supports 9 application-specific handpieces - at Mandelic Medical we have 4 of the 9. Hair Removal, IPL Skin Rejuvenation, Acne, and VP2 spot treatment.

Our device uses a CoolTip™, which is a sapphire cooling tip to support epidermal protection and comfort.

The SR - Skin Rejuvenation handpiece is used for IPL photofacial treatments designed to improve the appearance of sun damage, uneven pigmentation, redness, and visible signs of photoaging.

By targeting excess pigment and certain superficial vascular concerns, IPL can help create a clearer, more even-looking complexion.

IPL skin rejuvenation may help improve:

• Sun spots and certain brown pigmentation

• Freckles and uneven skin tone

• Facial redness and some visible broken capillaries

• Certain signs of sun damage

• Dullness and uneven complexion

IPL is not appropriate for every pigmentation or vascular condition. A professional skin assessment is essential to determine whether treatment is suitable.

Laser and IPL hair reduction treatments use controlled light energy that is absorbed by pigment within the hair follicle. The energy converts to heat, damaging structures involved in hair growth and gradually reducing the amount of hair that regrows.

Because hair grows in cycles, multiple sessions are required to target follicles during their active growth phases.

At Mandelic Medical Aesthetics, we offer professional hair reduction treatments for various areas of the face and body.

Hair removal is permanent for some, but maintenance is required to up keep results. Underlying hormonal conditions and pregnancy may effect results.

Laser and IPL hair removal are best described as long-term or permanent hair reduction, rather than a guarantee that every hair will be permanently eliminated.

Many clients experience a significant reduction in hair growth after completing a series of treatments. Some finer or lighter hairs may remain, and occasional maintenance sessions may be needed.

Results depend on hair colour, skin type, hormones, treatment area, and individual response.

We do not guarantee results or provide refunds.

Most clients require a series of approximately 6–10 treatments, although some may need fewer or additional sessions depending on their hair growth patterns and treatment area.

Sessions are spaced according to the area being treated and the hair growth cycle.

During your consultation at Mandelic Medical Aesthetics, we'll discuss realistic expectations and create a personalized treatment schedule.

Maintenance is required.

Most clients describe the sensation as a quick snap or warm flick against the skin. Discomfort varies depending on the treatment area, hair density, skin sensitivity, and device settings.

Our goal is to provide an effective treatment while prioritizing client comfort and skin safety.

• Discontinue Accutane 6 months prior to treatment.

• Discontinue use of Retinoic Acid products 2 weeks prior to treatment.

• Avoid sun exposure, or the use of tanning beds for four to eight weeks (dependant on the skin type of Patient), and self-tanners for at least four weeks, prior and/or in between treatments.

• Report all skin diseases, viruses, infections, cold sores, eczema or allergies to treating Practitioner.

• Do not exfoliate, use glycolic acid, benzyl peroxide or any other skin irritants one week prior to treatments.

• Avoid Microdermabrasion’s, or peels for two weeks prior to treatment.

• If the skin is red, irritated or sunburned, the treatment must be rescheduled.

• Report all medication taken within two weeks of the treatment.

• Avoid depilating for at least 6 weeks prior to your first treatment. Do not depilate with: waxing, sugaring, plucking, threading or hair removal creams before and/or in between treatments. Shaving is permitted and recommended.

• Discontinue using bleaching creams for 2 weeks prior to treatment and perfumed products (eg. Aromatherapy oils/Essential oils) for 48 hours before treatment.

• Do not use sun blocking creams within 12 hours of scheduled treatments. Consider wearing protective clothing, cotton gloves for driving, or a hat to protect facial areas.

• Avoid swimming in strong chlorinated water immediately before a treatment.

• Avoid direct sunlight, tanning beds or self-tanners for at least 2-3 weeks after a treatment. Apply SPF religiously. Keep reapplying as needed throughout the day. Consider using protective cotton gloves for driving, a hat to protect facial areas

• If there are scabs or blisters, make-up should not be used for 3-4 days.

• Avoid touching, rubbing, peeling or picking of the skin in treatment area, as this may cause hyper/hypo pigmentation, scarring or infection.

• Gently apply pure Aloe Vera gel or antibiotic ointment to the treated area, twice daily until healed and dry.

• A “cold pack” may be placed over the treated area to reduce swelling and/or discomfort for the first 2-3 days. Discomfort is usually minimal but pain medication can also be taken for pain and swelling if required.

• For 1 week post treatment, avoid: hot baths, showers, hot tubs and saunas. When showering and washing, gently pat dry and do not rub.

• Avoid strenuous exercise for 24-48 hours following clinical treatment.

• Avoid swimming in strong chlorinated water 24 hours after treatment.

• If you have a pacemaker.

• Metal pins or plates in the treatment area.

• Implants (in the treatment area) that are metal, silicone, bio-alcamid or any material.

• Skin cancer (past or present).

• Other cancer (present).

• Pre cancerous lesions.

• Heat disease or heart failure.

• Pregnancy + 3 months post.

• Breast feeding

• Topical use of hydroquinone, acids, bleaching and retinoids in the treatment area for 14 days prior.

• Immune depressant consumption.

• Photosensitizing medication of any kind.

• HIV

• Immunosuppressive conditions.

• White, grey, platinum, light auburn, vellus hair types.

• Light or heat induced disease (lupus, epilepsy).

• Herpes (active)

• Skin disease in the treatment area such as psoriasis, dermatitis, vitiligo )

• Keloid scars

• No Accutane for 6 months prior.

• Fragile skin.

• Steroid consumption (cortisone)

• Tanned skin in the last 4 weeks for fitz 1-3 and 8 weeks for fitz 4-5

• Tattoo and permanent makeup in the treatment area.

• Fertility treatments.

• 2 weeks post injections.

• Coagulation problems + anti coagulation meds.

The SharpLight VP2 handpiece is designed for more targeted light-based treatments of localized skin concerns.

It allows us to focus treatment on smaller areas, making it a useful option for certain visible pigmentation concerns and superficial vascular irregularities.

Depending on the skin concern and suitability, VP2 treatments may help improve the appearance of:

• Certain sun spots and localized pigmentation

• Small visible broken capillaries

• Localized facial redness

• Selected superficial vascular concerns

• Certain post-inflammatory red or pigmented marks

Both the SR and VP2 handpieces can be used for certain pigmentation and vascular concerns, but they are designed for different treatment approaches.

SR Skin Rejuvenation: Generally used for treating broader areas of the face, neck, chest, or other suitable regions where diffuse redness, sun damage, or uneven tone is present.

VP2 Precision Spot Treatment: Designed for more localized treatment of specific, smaller areas of pigmentation or visible vessels.

Your aesthetician will determine which handpiece is most appropriate based on the size, depth, and characteristics of your skin concern.

The SharpLight Acne handpiece delivers light-based energy designed to target factors associated with inflammatory acne, including acne-related bacteria and inflammation.

This treatment may help reduce certain inflammatory breakouts and improve overall skin clarity when incorporated into a personalized acne management plan.

At Mandelic Medical Aesthetics, we assess your skin and may recommend combining professional treatments with a consistent home skincare routine.

Not every laser or IPL handpiece is suitable for every skin tone.

Because light-based treatments interact with melanin, clients with deeper skin tones or recently tanned skin may have an increased risk of burns, pigmentation changes, or other complications with certain devices and settings.
